Chris Bosh’s highly anticipated 25th exclusive birthday gala was well on its way at Maro Nightclub in Toronto, Canada on March 22, 2009.

Every guest was greeted by the JUZD team and Jing Liu, handcrafted a one-of-a-kind BIG 25 JUZD shirt to commemorate Chris Bosh’s quarter-century birthday party.  For those who purchased the shirt in advance, quickly took advantage of the VIP treatment in the club with a closed off VIP section, saturated with Chris’ Toronto Raptor teammates:  Shawn Marion, Anthony Parker, Jose Calderon, Jason Kapono, Andrea Bargnani, Kris Humphries, Roko Ukic, Joey Graham and coach Jay Triano  were among some of the Raptors in attendance . We last spotted Melanie Martin of Flow 93.5 being “original” in her JUZD shirt. However, she’s not the only Flow 93.5 DJ rocking the airwaves fashionably in a bamboo shirt. We caught Devo Brown rocking his All-Star shirt with hip-hop artist Q-Tip.

No amateur to the radio airwaves, Brown has worked at numerous radio stations before finding his niche at Toronto’s #1 hip-hop radio station - Flow 93.5. Currently, Brown can be heard on-air on his program, FLOW Factor, Monday to Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

While some of the fashion conscious population rock their JUZD shirts in the club scene, on the street, and on television (think Nalini Sharma!), others rock it on the air waves. Posing with Nico, winner of Canada’s So You Think You Can Dance, Melanie Martin proudly shows off her JUZD shirt.

Martin, a Sudbury native, is well known as the co-host of the popular JJ & Melanie in the Morning at FLOW 93.5. When she is not on air, Martin can be found getting up-to-date on the news and celebrity gossip (in preparation for The Scoop, a short segment on her morning show where she discusses the latest news with her co-host), scouting the latest fashion trend, and spending time with her daughter.

Recalling that JUZD showcased its hot collection during LA Fashion Week at TaTou lounge in downtown Los Angeles this past October, we noted in attendance of this event was hip-hop/R&B sensation Estelle. What we didn’t tell fans was that lead designer, Jing Liu, met with Estelle and presented to her a JUZD shirt, which she absolutely loved!

Even though Estelle has already made a name for herself in UK’s hip-hop scene by capturing three consecutive “Best Female Artist” trophies, Estelle is moving onto bigger things. Kick-starting her career in the US music industry with “American Boy,” Estelle is well on her way to becoming just as popular here as she is in the UK!

Forecasting Toronto as having awesome fashion sense for the next year, Nalini Sharma shows off her JUZD shirt.

Sharma, a Ryerson alumnus, is known for her frequent appearances on CityNews at 6, CityNews Tonight, Toronto International Film Festivals‘ 2008 feature: Red Carpet Tonight, as well as on CP24.

Blackcowboy have won quite a bit of awards since and made many top song and band lists. JUZD wants to congratulate them and thank them for wearing our shirt on on their live performance on MTV, see photo above. Couple of guys also wore the JUZD shirts on their MTV UK appearance. Chris Bosh of the Raptors and one of the top NBA players have been one of the biggest supporter of JUZD. Chris Bosh have been a three-time NBA All-star and have been named to the All-NBA team. He also was on the US national team which won gold the 2008 Olympics. Here’s a video of him wearing his JUZD shirt.
